This Clown Mirror craft was initially featured in my post, Itsy Bitsy Preschool: Circus, Fruit Fun, E, B and more …, and I thought I’d share the directions with you all. It’s a very simple craft that the children can use again and again. It’s probably best suited for ages 3 and up, although the two younger girls did make it (with a lot of help!).
To create the clown mirror you will need:
Cardstock
Tape
Directions:
{Using a stencil cut-out a face shape from the mirrored paper and cardstock.}
{Tape the craft stick to the cardstock and cover with glue.}
{Stick the mirrored face on top. Lay flat and wait until completely dry.}
{Make one set of handprints, cut out and attach to either side of the face.}
{Cut out a clown hat from colored cardstock and decorate with foam stickers.}
{Attach hat and a red foam circle for a clown nose.}
When your child holds the mirror up to their face they will be transformed into the cutest clown around! What a great addition to a circus or carnival theme!
