Winter Preschool Activities: Snowflakes

On our snowflake themed day we read the story Here Comes Jack Frost:

Here Comes Jack Frost

Then we did some snowflake themed activities. Missy Mu-Mu (with little sister’s ahem “help”) placed  foam numbered snowflakes from 0  to 30:

We practiced cutting skills with our snowflake scissor skill page, from one of my Winter Preschool Packs:

To finish our preschool time, we focused on adding and subtracting with the song, Five Little Snowflakes.
I found the large snowflakes for 20 cents each in Michaels Christmas clearance section! I added little magnets to the back and grabbed a cookie sheet from the kitchen (simple but fun and effective!).
